Welcome to Sweden’s most beautiful Art Museum! Prince Eugene’s Waldemarsudde, which was originally home to Prince Eugene, is today one of Sweden’s most popular art museums. In the castle building is the prince’s banquet hall, preserved as it looked in the prince’s time. The rest of the museum displays a selection of Prince Eugene’s paintings, works from the collections and temporary exhibitions. The museum is surrounded by a beautiful flower and sculpture park.

Introduction (in Swedish) to the exhibiton Marie Krøyer. Marie Krøyer (1867 – 1940) was noted in Scandinavia during her lifetime for her dramatic personal life with Norwegian-Danish painter P.S. Krøyer and Swedish composer Hugo Alfvén, yet the full extent of her own artistic work is not widely known today. Throughout the coming spring and summer we will focus new attention on the artist Marie Krøyer in her own right in a major exhibition showing the breadth of her compelling work as a painter as well as designer of furniture, textiles and interiors. Entrance fee: 170 kr.
